Jolly LLB 3 box office collection day 7: The Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi duo has sent the courtroom into splits and has the cinema bursting with laughter. Leaving the audience with a powerful message in the end, Jolly LLB 3 has ruled the box office all week. Despite seeing a gradual dip on weekdays, Bollywood’s newest court drama has collected Rs 73.75 crore nationwide.

With a Rs 12.5 crore opening day, Jolly LLB 3 made big waves at the box office on the weekend with a total collection of Rs 41 crore. Seeing a 73% dip on Monday, the Akshay Kumar movie collected Rs 5.5 crore and redeemed itself on Tuesday. However, it experienced a steady decline from Rs 4.5 crore on Wednesday and ending with Rs 3.75 crore on Day 7.

As the second weekend of the film approaches, it is set to face stiff competition from Pawan Kalyan’s ‘They Call Him OG’, which collected more than Rs 150 crore from the worldwide box office on its opening day alone.

Jolly LLB 3 box office day 7: Dipping occupancy

When it comes to the cinema audience, Jolly LLB 3 failed to retain the numbers in theatres. As the number of shows declined over the week, Chennai gave the maximum occupancy rate to the Saurabh Shukla starrer with 20%. Bengaluru was inching closer to the state with 19.75% occupancy numbers. However, the overall rate only crossed the 11% mark by an inch.

Delhi NCR and Mumbai remained close contenders for the top 5 highest-performing locations for Jolly LLB 3, while Ahmedabad, Bhopal, and Surat remained the lowest. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the Star Studios and Kangra Talkies production also stars Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, Saurabh Shukla, and Gajraj Rao in key roles. Netizens have hailed Judge Sunder Lal Tripathi’s comedic character, played by Saurabh Shukla. Some even call him the highlight of the movie.

Jolly LLB 3 has also become the franchise’s highest-grossing film, leaving Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 and Arshad Warsi’s Jolly LLB behind. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Housefull 4 is Akshay Kumar’s best-performing film which collected Rs 210 crore during its theatrical run. Arshad Warsi’s Golmaal Again, though, is his highest-grossing film and widely loved by fans. Jolly LLB 3 is set to become Huma Qureshi’s biggest film yet if it crosses Rs 117 crore, while Gajraj Rao’s much-loved Badhaai Ho remains his top net collection movie.
