Shah Rukh Khan birthday: Calling the Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan, the ‘ultimate King of Bollywood,’ Shashi Tharoor drafted a rather long wish for the actor’s 60th birthday. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Tharoor admitted that he found “this ’60’ number deeply suspicious”. Taking a humorous, but researched, and sarcastic tone, the Member of Parliament seemed in awe of how young Shah Rukh Khan looks at 60.

Unbelievably so, Tharoor broke down how “a crack team of independent fact-checkers and forensic detectives” researched the claim that the Swades star actually turned 60. Unable to capture the essence with a paraphrased version, here’s what Tharoor wrote.

“In the complete and absolute absence of any discernible visual evidence, specifically, no non-photoshopped grey hair, no undeniable signs of slowing down, and a persistent appearance of someone significantly younger, the claim that Shah Rukh Khan is turning 60 cannot be factually confirmed.”

‘He’s ageing in reverse’

Claiming that Shah Rukh Khan’s age was a ruse, he called it a “cover-up and that SRK is actually in a real-life, decades-long, global-scale Bollywood adaptation of ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.’ He’s ageing in reverse.” Like a true fan absorbing the birthday boy’s stardom, Tharoor presented some “evidence” to support his claims.

Speaking about the actor’s energy levels, Tharoor commented that they seem to be more than what “they were 20 years ago.” Taking a moment to appreciate the Bollywood icon’s hair, Tharoor felt, “His hairstyle has become progressively more youthful.” Fans would recall his iconic ponytail or a few locks of blonde hair that were Shah Rukh Khan’s version of Taylor Swift’s eras. Tharoor also seemed amazed by the youthful skin the Bollywood actor has. “There are no wrinkles a decent lighting crew can’t explain why.”

Tharoor’s prediction for the decade

He took a humorous jab at elder actors taking the role of significantly younger roles in cinema and predicted for Shah Rukh Khan’s 70th birthday. The Congress MP wrote, ” I predict by the time he hits his ’70th’ birthday, he’ll be auditioning for teenage roles.” He then added, “Mercifully, I don’t expect to be around when he turns into a child star.”
