Ground Zero box office collection: Emraan Hashmi’s starrer Ground Zero is facing a tough time pulling in big numbers. The film had a decent start on its opening day, struggling to gain momentum at the box office. The film is yet to cross the Rs 10 crore mark after six days of its release.
Hitting theatres on April 25, 2025, Emran Hashmi came back after a long gap at the domestic box office. His action debut as a BSF officer in this action-thriller is said to be inspired by real-life events. However, after grossing less than Rs 10 crore, the film has collected just above Rs 7 crore in its first week.
According to Sacknilk, Emraan Hashmi’s action drama earned only Rs 22 lakh on its six day of release, bringing its total collection to Rs 6.92 crore. In terms of occupancy, Ground Zero saw an overall impact of 11.15% in Hindi. The report says that the film attracted only 4.64% occupancy in morning shows, with a slight improvement in the afternoon at 6.91%. However, the overall occupancy is approximately 5.78% in Hindi on Wednesday, April 30.
Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Ground Zero is facing tough competition at the box office, with two major releases – Sunny Deol’s Jatt and Akshay Kumar’s Kesari 2. However, the re-release of Andaz Apna Apna has also pulled audiences away, making it even more challenging for Emraan Hashmi’s film to gain momentum and boost its box office collections.
In this film, Emran Hashmi plays the role of a BSF officer leading an operation against terrorists in the tense aftermath of the 2001 Indian Parliament attack. He is joined by Zoya Hussain and Sai Tamhankar, who portray significant characters alongside him.
