Grammy Award 2025 nominations: The 68th Annual Grammy Awards 2026 nominations are finally out. Spanning across 95 categories, US artist Kendrick Lamar has topped the chart with 9 nominations. Competing against Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, and Sabrina Carpenter for the ‘Record Of The Year’, several Indian-origin artists have joined the list too.

Anoushka Shankar
Nominated in two categories, sitarist and composer, Anoushka Shankar was mentioned for her single, ‘Daybreak’, in the category for ‘Best Global Music Performance’. In fact, she was also nominated for the ‘Best Global Music Album’ – Chapter III: We Return To Light. The album was a collaboration among Anoushka Shankar, sarod artist Alam Khan and drummer Sarathy Korwar.
Siddhant Bhatia
Nominated alongside Shankar, composer Siddhant Bhatia’s album ‘Sounds of Kumbha’ has stood the test of time. It has a total of 12 songs and has collaborations with several notable artists. He is also a classic singer, music producer, and SSL-certified sound engineer. He has produced several devotional medleys like ‘Jaya Ganapati Om’, ‘Universal Guru’, and ‘Devi Om’, among others.
Mind Explosion (50th Anniversary Tour Live) by Shakti has also been nominated in the same category. The rendition ‘Shrini’s Dream (Live)’ has also been mentioned alongside Shankar’s Daybreak in the ‘Best Global Music Performance Category.’
Charu Suri
Indo-American jazz composer and pianist, Charu Suri has also been nominated for the ‘Best Contemporary Instrumental Album’. Her ‘Shayan’ stands out in the category. Her unique renditions that blend Indian ragas with jazz are a class apart. Some of her famous tracks include ‘A Little Joy’, ‘Bluesy’, and ‘It’s the Simple Things.’
