Dhurandhar box office collection day 23

By the end of its 23rd day in theatres, as per Sacnilk, Dhurandhar had collected Rs 668 crore net in India. In gross terms, the figure stands at approximately Rs 801.50 crore. With this, the film has become the highest-grossing Bollywood film ever in the Indian market. It now ranks as the fifth highest-grossing Indian film domestically, behind only major pan-India blockbusters such as Pushpa 2, Baahubali 2, KGF Chapter 2, and RRR. No Hindi film before Dhurandhar has crossed the Rs 650 crore mark in India.

Dhurandhar worldwide performance breaks old records

Along with its strong domestic run, Dhurandhar has delivered impressive numbers overseas. According to Sacnilk, the film has crossed $26 million in international markets. This has taken its worldwide box office collection to around Rs 1,035 crore. The makers of the film have claimed an even higher figure, stating that the film has already gone past Rs 1,050 crore globally.

The overseas numbers have helped Dhurandhar beat the lifetime international collections of several iconic Indian films. These include Raj Kapoor’s Awara, Mera Naam Joker, My Name Is Khan, Dunki, and 3 Idiots. While it is still far from the overseas record set by Dangal, the film is expected to surpass titles like Sholay, Bobby, and Kalki 2898 AD before it ends its theatrical run.

Ranveer Singh’s biggest hit so far

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar opened to Rs 28 crore and has remained strong at the box office despite competition from new releases. The film has also held its ground overseas against big Hollywood titles, including Avatar: Fire and Ash. With collections continuing to rise every day, this has clearly become Ranveer Singh’s biggest box office success till date.
