Ranveer Singh–starrer Dhurandhar is currently enjoying a strong and sustained run at the Box Office, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The spy action thriller, which sees Singh step into the world of high-stakes espionage, has been drawing steady crowds since its release on December 5, 2025, emerging as one of the most consistent performers of the year with solid hold across its second week.

Starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi in key roles, Dhurandhar is the first installment of a two-part movie series. The plot follows an undercover agent (Singh) as he infiltrates the dark underbelly of Karachi’s criminal and political underworld. It was directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar who previously worked on Bollywood blockbusters like Uri: The Surgical Strike and Article 370.

Dhurandhar’s Box Office performance on day 14

Dhurandhar’s domination at the Box Office has been total and singular, with the film having already made more than double its budget worldwide within just 14 days of release. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 23 crores on day 14, bringing the total India net collections to Rs 460 crores – an incredible feat. If momentum continues, industry experts predict that the film will soon enter the Rs 1000 crore club which features only two other names: Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas.

Total overseas collection amounted to Rs 150 crores which brought the overall worldwide collection to Rs 700 crores approximately, according to Sacnilk. With no other major Bollywood competitor in sight for the next few days, crossing the Rs 1000 crore milestone now appears almost inevitable.

However, its run could face some resistance with James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash releasing today, December 19. The previous instalment, Avatar: The Way of Water, went on to become the highest-grossing Hollywood film in India upon its release in 2022 and continues to hold that record. With immense hype surrounding the new Avatar film, it could potentially eat into Dhurandhar’s box office share in the days ahead.

Theatre occupancy on Day 14

On its 14th day of release, Dhurandhar maintained a robust presence in theaters, registering an overall Hindi occupancy of 32.35% on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The film followed a typical upward trend throughout the day, starting with a 18.28% occupancy for morning shows and steadily climbing as the day progressed. Afternoon and evening shows saw significant growth with 32.08% and 38.08% occupancy respectively, eventually peaking during the night shows at an impressive 40.97%.

Regionally, the film continued to witness its strongest performance in Bengaluru, which recorded a standout overall occupancy of 51.25% across 445 shows. Other major circuits also showed healthy engagement; the National Capital Region (NCR) led in volume with nearly 1,500 shows and a 33.25% occupancy, while Pune and Chennai followed with strong overall rates of 41% and 42% respectively. Even in competitive markets like Mumbai, the film held steady with 31% occupancy across 1,138 shows, flaunting its sustained appeal as it completed its second week at the box office.
