The early collections for both the films have been posted on trade website Sacnilk, and it’s clear from the data which film is winning more hearts.

De De Pyaar De 2, the age-gap romcom which audiences are saying is the right blend of comedy, emotions, and romance, has collected Rs 3.62 cr, as of 6 pm, according to Sacnilk. Looking at the early trend, the film is set for a good opening day collection.

Kaantha, the film that moves from being a psychological drama to a whodunnit, has collected Rs 1.96 crore so far till 6 pm as per Sacnilk. The Tamil film is expected to add more money to its collection as the weekend approaches.

Verdict

Looking at the early numbers, De De Pyaar De 2 seems like a clear winner here. However, things will be clearer after the weekend, considering the word of mouth may also play a key role.
