The past year and the ongoing K-drama season delivered some beloved drama hits that fans have no plans of getting over anytime soon. From Byeon Woo Seok’s standout success in tvN’s Lovely Runner to Park Bo Gum oozing his ‘Green Forest’ aura in Netflix’s When Life Gives You Tangerines, K-drama performances have continued to captivate audiences around the world.

With that in mind, here comes the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards nominees announcement! On April 7, K-entertainment titles including OTT releases, films and variety shows, and industry creatives were picked as candidates eligible for awards across a wide-ranging roster of categories. Releases airing between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, made it to the list — keeping in mind that shows coming out this year must have aired at least one-third of the series.

As for the Best Actor eligibility, stars must not have starred in more than three productions. Park Bo Gum (When Life Gives You Tangerines), Byeon Woo Seok (Lovely Runner), Lee Joon Hyuk (Dongjae, the Good or the Bastard), Ju Ji Hoon (The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call) and Han Suk Kyu (Doubt) secured the Best Actor nods for this year’s Baeksang Arts Awards.

Here all the nominees for the 2025 Baeksang Arts Awards, scheduled to take place on Monday, May 5.
