A Justin Bieber impersonator hoped to make the most of the chaos he created over the weekend at a Las Vegas hotel. However, he eventually ended up getting the taste of his own medicine after his big prank had everyone fooled at the scene. The man in question even found his way to the stage, tricking everyone into believing that they were lucky enough to witness the real pop star in musical action.
On Saturday night, guests at the Wynn Las Vegas were treated to DJ Gryffin’s beats. Sources privy to the situation later spilled to TMZ that the American artist was told the “Baby” hit-maker was in attendance at the club as well. Hoping to churn golden results out of the given opportunity, Gryffin reportedly invited the man, who later turned out to be fake Justin Bieber, to his own set to spin the beloved singer’s tunes.
DJ Gryffin and Las Vegas club ‘duped’ by fake Justin Bieber
“How ‘bustin jeiber’ duped me during my own set,” read a caption overlay on Gryffin’s Instagram video posted under a day ago. Poking jokes at himself in hindsight, the DJ shared that the pop-singing impersonator’s “team” approached him, saying that Bieber wanted to perform his popular track “Sorry” onstage with him.

As soon as Gryffin turned on the tune, the crowd went wild at the Las Vegas club. The prankster continued to play along for a few minutes, presumably lip-syncing to the track playing at the club, and even the famous DJ couldn’t catch him in his lie.
Minutes after the performance, someone came up to Gryffin to tell the club stunt was “completely fake.” Gryffin, when kicking it back with his own team, confessed, “I literally thought like da*n, he put on a lot of weight since the album dropped.” What the famous remix-er first thought would be a crossover for the ages ultimately took on the name of what he labelled “biebergate2025.”
‘Biebergate’: Justin Bieber impersonator banned from Las Vegas resort
A rep for Wynn and X Nightclub has since confirmed to TMZ that the Justin Bieber impersonator’s “elaborate and multi-step ruse” granted him access to the XS stage. However, as soon as others recognised the “error,” he was booted from the resort and “denied future entry.”
According to Facebook video embedded in the outlet’s story, the Bieber impersonator has been identified as a man named Dylan Desclos. Though decked in heavy tattoos all over body, like the pop star he sought to imitate, the video hints at Desclos’ presumed foreign nationality. He’s not even heard speaking English, and yet, he and his “team” somehow managed to pull off the antic, for however long he could.

Dylan Desclos happy to steal Bieber’s identity
The Justin Bieber lookalike is reportedly from France, and goes by ‘@DesclosDylan’ on X. In his bio, he openly flaunts his identity as a “Justin Bieber impersonator / Lookalike.” Ever since the incident, he’s re-shared countless posts talking about his Las Vegas prank. Videos of his Vegas outing also show many people lining up to catch a selfie with him.
Several videos and posts detailing the account even alleged that the man behind ‘BieberGate’ was paid for his performance at the club.
According to social media screenshots from September 2024, snaps caught Dylan in public on a “random Tuesday during fashion week.” Many instantly believed he was Bieber. However, the real Canadian musician’s wife, Hailey Bieber‘s comment alerted others of what was real and what wasn’t. Her statement, though as short as “I’m scared…”, immediately gave the world a reality check.
Clearly, Desclos feels no remorse conning people, and he’s made playing fake Bieber (or ‘Temu Justin Bieber,’ as Las Vegas Locally called him on X) his whole personality. His social media profile stands testament to it.
