Rituraj Singh Passes Away: Well-known TV actor Rituraj Singh died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday. He was 59. Confirming Singh’s demise, his close friend and colleague Amit Behl said that Singh was admitted to hospital for brief illness. According to an Indian Express report, Singh was suffering from pancreatic illness. Behl said that Singh died at 12:30 am on Tuesday.
Behl said that after brief hospitalisation, Singh was back home. But on Monday night, he started feeling uneasy and his family rushed him to a nearby hospital. But before doctors could treat him, Singh reportedly suffered cardiac arrest.
Talking to indianexpress.com, actor Sandip Sikand expressed his anguish. He said that he got the news of Singh’s demise via a WhatsApp message. Talking about his bond with the late actor, Sikand spoke about how the two worked together for hit TV serial ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii’. May his soul find peace, and may his wife and children find the strength to cope with their loss, Sikand said.
A career spanning over decades, Rituraj Singh was seen in shows such as Jyoti, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Hitler Didi, Adaalat, Banegi Apni Baat, Warrior High, Shapath, Aahat. Recently, Singh had appeared in hit TV show Anupamaa.
