Every year Bollywood celebrities go all out when it comes to Diwali celebrations and this year was no different. From serene pujas and grand parties to lavish outfits and photoshoots, no stone is left unturned during the festive season. Celebrities took to Instagram and gave fans a peak into their inner worlds while wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali. Let’s take a look into their homes and see how they celebrated.

Alia Bhatt and family

Alia Bhatt shared glimpses of her Diwali celebrations on her Instagram page and they were a delight to witness. Captioning the posts “fam jam x Diwali glam” and ” दिलवाली Diwali Happy Diwali to you and yours” she shared that she had spent Dhanteras with her in-laws while Diwali was spent with her family. The Kapoor sisters, Karisma and Kareena were in attendance as was Neetu Kapoor and other friends and family. She also posted glamorous pictures of herself in a gilded saree with accessories to match. While she wore a much simpler, but no less elegant outfit for the main day. She shared photos and videos of her goofing about with her younger sister Shaheen Bhatt and being loved on by Ranbir Kapoor.

Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra

Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra looked dreamy in their matching yellow outfits for Diwali. The new parents were jubilant in the video Kiara posted to her Instagram wishing followers a Happy Diwali.

This is the first sighting of the couple after the birth of their daughter which they shared through an Instagram post in July. They were positively glowing with happiness as they embraced each other.

Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar

Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar spent Diwali this time in London and according to Twinkle’s post looked like they had a blast even far away from home. “Diwali in London. All dressed up with no mithai in sight. So behaving like oranges are the new laddoos and sharing some Vitamin C loaded sweetness. Temple visit next with real mithai. Happy Diwali to everyone and may your world be filled with light, love and laughter,” She wrote. The couple looked stunning with Twinkle in a pale pink Sharara set while Akshay wore a beige Sherwani.

Ananya Panday

Ananya Panday and family made the most of Diwali as they came together to celebrate it. While she attended Karan Johar’s Diwali puja at Dharma Productions according to news18, she also spent time at home creating gorgeous table arrangements with sweets, flowers and candles. Her Instagram post captioned, “Filled with love and light” showed the actor in her festive best. For the puja at Dharma Productions she donned a magenta pink set while opting for a more traditional yellow set for her party at home.

Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon clearly had a blast of a Diwali Party as was evident from her Instagram carousel captioned “Ghar wali diwali. Love, lights, laughter, surrounded by people I love dancing on desi punjabi music till morning! Isn’t it the best time of the year?” Strutting in her festive best she posed with friends, family and pets and seemed to generally be having a great time. Her home was decorated to the nines with candles, flowers and diyas and she went all out for her Diwali Party.

Dia Mirza’s Diwali party was a star-studded affair and many familiar faces were seen, from Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar to Vidya Balan and Konkona Sen Sharma, everyone was present. Others in attendance were: Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Tanvi Azmi, Divya Dutta and Urmila Matondkar. She was dressed in a gorgeous pastel green outfit which made her look elegant beyond words. She captioned her post, “Happy Diwali. The light that guides us through life is not just the brilliance of lamps around us, but that quiet illumination born of gratitude, love, and forgiveness. May this festival remind us of the glow we carry within, and may it shine gently upon all we do.

Karan Johar

Karan Johar never does anything by halves and we see proof of it during every major festival. Diwali this time was no exception as the film maker took to Instagram to show off his Family pictures with son Yash and Daughter Roohi. The little family was garbed in Manish Malhotra for the annual Diwali Puja at Dharma Productions and it is clear that Johar had their outfits coordinated to complement each other. He wore a white sherwani embroidered with flowers and his children were dressed in shades of pink and green with similar motifs. For the evening party, he swapped out his white sherwani for a simple black one and paired it with a heavily embroidered shawl for a very tasteful display.
