After Korea’s ‘National MC’ Yoo Jae Suk snagged the Grand Prize at the 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards this week, his fans were counting on him winning the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards Daesang as well. However, the beloved comedian and host ultimately lost the biggest title of the night to someone.
Held on December 30, the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards listed out Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Sang Min, Jee Seok Jin, Shin Dong Yup, Tak Jae Hoon, Jun Hyun Moo and Seo Jang Hoon as the nominees for this year’s Grand Prize.
Although Yoo lost out on the SBS Grand Prize, he still managed to secure multiple awards on Tuesday night. He ended up sharing the Best Couple honour with K-drama star Yoo Yeon Seok (of When the Phone Rings fame) for their joint appearance on Whenever Possible. Meanwhile, an AI selection granted him the ‘Face of SBS’ title as well.
The 2025 SBS Entertainment Award with UPbit took place at SBS Prism Tower in Seoul with Jun Hyun Moo, Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Su Ji as co-hosts. Here are all the winners of the final variety showdown of the year.
