With rival networks KBS and MBC having already completed their celebratory variety run earlier this month, the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards will gather the biggest South Korean variety stars under one roof for the last time this year.

Variety stars Jun Hyun Moo, Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Su Ji will host the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards with UPbit tonight. Flagship hits like Running Man, My Little Old Boy, Kick a Goal and more are expected to take centre stage. Additionally, breakout new hits like The Ballad of Us, Manager Seojin and My Turn are also likely to earn their share of credit.

Here’s everything we know about the SBS Entertainment Awards, which will be held at SBS Prism Tower in Seoul this year.

When and where to watch SBS Entertainment Awards 2025?

The 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards will air tonight, December 30, at 8:50 pm KST (5:20 pm IST), and the red carpet will take place hours before that at 6:50 pm KST. South Korean fans will be able to watch the live broadcast on the SBS TV channel.

In late December, the South Korean network and Netflix inked a deal, furthering their efforts to expand the influential impact of the Hallyu Wave on the global level. As a result, select regions may be able to view the live show on Netflix as well. Limited streaming options may be available for certain international audiences via KOCOWA+ too.

Other than that, Seoul Broadcasting System’s YouTube channel is likely to offer official clips of the ceremony.

2025 SBS Entertainment Awards lineup

While the biggest SBS variety stars are already expected to come together for a one-off project group on December 30, the show will also see K-pop star TVXQ’s U-KNOW (aka Yunho) perform at the SBS Entertainment Awards 2025.

Other headliners include SBS variety favourites like ‘The Ballad of Us’ Top 12. Tak Jae Hoon of My Turn will celebrate his 30th debut anniversary in a surprise collaboration with rock band Crying Nut, according to the official SBS website.
