It’s not weekend yet but celebrations in the K-entertainment world have come a little early with the 2025 Blue Dragon Film Awards. The 46th edition of the South Korean award ceremony that cheers on excellence in cinematic excellence each year is back this week.

Organised by Korean newspaper Sports Chosun, the event will bring back beloved actors Han Ji Min and Lee Je Hoon as the main hosts for a second consecutive year. The ceremony is slated to go live this Wednesday will be held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.

Park Chan Wook’s black comedy thriller flick No Other Choice leads this year’s nominations table, with the Yeon Sang Ho directorial The Ugly in at No 2. Last year, Jang Jae Hyun’s Exhuma starring Choi Min Sik and Kim Go Eun led the nominees list, just like it did the winning announcements.

Here is everything you need to know about the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards.
