CBSE Board Exam 2024: It often happens that an out-of-syllabus question or an error appears in the examination. The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued a new protocol that will address this issue during the ongoing Board Examination 2024.
Students become increasingly concerned and stressed upon encountering questions that are either beyond the scope of the syllabus or contain inaccuracies in their examination papers. However, the board has devised a new protocol aimed at swiftly addressing such concerns. Under this protocol, individuals are instructed to raise their queries using the specified procedure.
CBSE Board Exams 2024: What should be done if question paper has an error?
Under the new protocol, individuals are required to promptly inform the invigilator of any discrepancies such as incorrect or out-of-syllabus questions, as well as other errors identified in the question paper during examinations.
Following notification, the supervisor will proceed to forward the concerns to the relevant authorities within the Board via email.
In response to such disparities, a revised marking system will be developed. The updated protocol specifies the utilization of input from teachers of Classes 10 and 12 to formulate the marking scheme.
Teachers are entrusted with the responsibility of submitting the question paper to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), accompanied by a comprehensive review report.
This report must be prepared and submitted to the Board on the day of the examination, incorporating details about the difficulty level of the exam, any discrepancies identified in the paper, the quality of the print, and adherence to the prescribed syllabus for the questions.
