SSC CGL 2025 exam dates: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the dates for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2025 on Thursday, September 3, 2025. Candidates can check the complete schedule on the Commission’s official website at ssc.gov.in.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Schedule
As per the notice, the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025 will be conducted on September 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26. The examination will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode.
The Tier-I paper will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions covering General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. All sections except English Comprehension will be bilingual in English and Hindi.
14,582 Vacancies Across Group B and C Posts
This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 14,582 vacancies across Group B and Group C posts in various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Government of India, as well as in several Constitutional and Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals.
Out of the total vacancies, 6,183 are for the Unreserved (UR) category, 2,167 for Scheduled Caste (SC), 1,088 for Scheduled Tribe (ST), 3,721 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 1,423 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates.
