The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the results of the SSC CGL 2024 Tier I examination on December 5. Candidates who participated in the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2024 Tier I can now view their scores on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.

The Tier I exam was conducted nationwide from September 6 to September 24. Candidates can access their individual response sheets by logging into the SSC website using their registration number and password.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024: How to check 

Follow these simple steps to check your SSC CGL Tier 1 result on the official website:

Go to the official SSC website: www.ssc.gov.in.

On the homepage, click on the “Result” tab located on the left side.

Look for the notification titled: “Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2024 – List of candidates qualified for appearing in Tier-II.”

“Write-up” link to access details about category-wise cutoffs, the number of qualified candidates, and scorecard release information.

“Result” link to download the PDF file containing the list of shortlisted candidates.

Open the PDF and use the “Ctrl+F” shortcut to search for your roll number or name. If you find your details, congratulations—you’ve qualified for the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam!

SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1 Result: Selection criteria

The final selection will be based on aggregate marks and the preference of posts submitted by the candidates. It is crucial for candidates to note that allotment will follow the merit-cum-preference system, considering their scores and choices.

SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1 Result: Recruitment drive

This recruitment aims to fill 17,727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ positions across various Ministries, Departments, Organisations, and Constitutional, Statutory, and Tribunal bodies under the Government of India.

SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1 Result: Passing criteria

The Commission invited objections to the provisional answer key between October 3 and October 8. The minimum qualifying marks are:

30% for unreserved candidates,

25% for OBC and EWS candidates, and

20% for all other categories.

The SSC CGL is a national-level competitive exam conducted to recruit candidates for Group B and Group C positions in government departments. The examination is divided into four tiers, evaluating skills in areas like general knowledge, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, and data interpretation.
