SAP Labs India has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B) to facilitate continuous skills enhancement, ensuring that talent remains at the forefront of innovation. This collaboration aims to bolster the exchange of knowledge between academia and the enterprise sector. The MoU emphasises a partnership in conducting joint research on specific industrial topics and challenges, which will contribute to ongoing skill development in niche technology areas, according to an official release.

IIIT-B stands as one of the top two institutions according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) among IIITs and holds an NAAC A+ accreditation. It is renowned for its teaching and research programmes, particularly in Information Technology, including areas such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication and Digital Society. Over the years, IIIT-B has forged a strong partnership with SAP through various programmes, the release mentioned.

SAP Labs India, in collaboration with IIIT-B, plays a pivotal role in enhancing employees’ competencies in artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) through executive programs. This partnership has successfully conducted two AI/ML cohorts, and a third cohort is set to commence this year, it added.
