Pearl Academy, a design institution, has unveiled a forward-thinking plan to elevate its educational offerings. This collective initiative aimed at empowering the future creative leaders signifies a pivotal moment in the institution’s history. Creative Arts Education Society (CAES), operating through its constituent academic facilities of Pearl Academy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Institute of National Importance, MoYAS, Government of India to facilitate bachelor’s / master’s degrees at all Pearl Academy campuses, including Delhi West, Delhi South, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Jaipur. As per this MoU, all students at Pearl Academy campuses will receive degrees, effective 2024 intake, according to an official release.

Pearl Academy claims to have restructured its educational programmes into seven distinct verticals, encompassing Fashion, Business, Interiors, Communication Design, Product Design, Film and Gaming. To bolster its offerings in the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic (AVGC) sector, Pearl Academy further claims to have acquired FX Studio and EDGE Metaversity. Furthermore, it has initiated an academic partnership with IAMAG, with the primary goal of preparing the upcoming generation of creative professionals for the AVGC industry, as per the release.

The institution announces its initiative to convene a distinguished panel of experts, thought leaders and visionaries in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi. These gatherings aim to delve into the continually evolving landscape of creative education. The central focus of these events, themed ‘AI and the Death of Creativity,’ is to ensure that Pearl Academy remains at the forefront of innovation and consistently provides top-tier education to its diverse community of learners.
