NIIT University (NU) has announced the early admissions for the academic year 2024. By obtaining early admission at NIIT University, 12th standard students can focus on preparing for their board exams without unnecessary stress. Admissions are currently open for programmes like B.Tech in Cyber Security and Integrated Masters in Business Administration, specifically crafted to equip students with skill sets tailored to the demands of the future workforce, according to an official release. 

The university claims that students can choose from programmes such as B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech in Biotechnology, three-year BBA and four-year integrated Masters in Business Administration (iMBA) after completing grade 12th, the release mentioned.

Furthermore, NIIT claims that it has introduced a new undergraduate programme in Artificial Intelligence (AI) named B.Tech AI and Data Science, this year. Through this programme the institute aims to address the contemporary business landscape’s demand for interdisciplinary expertise. This programme aims to nurture students with transformative skills in science, engineering, technology and business, as per the release. 

“Our new-age programmes are meticulously designed to equip students with skills aligned to the evolving demands of the professional world. The new B.Tech programme in AI and Data Science further underscores our commitment to interdisciplinary excellence. We look forward to welcoming aspiring minds to NIIT University,” Prakash Gopalan, president, NIIT University, said.

The curriculum encompasses a wide array of AI and Data Science topics, including AI-ML, deep neural networks, NLP, Generative AI with Large Language Models (LLMs), optimisation and predictive analytics. Early admissions are available for a limited number of seats, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to students who meet the admission criteria. Admission decisions will be based on the student’s academic performance in grade 10th or their results in specified national-level entrance examinations. Additionally, students may qualify for a merit-based scholarship of up to 100% based on their grade 10th score. Applicants with JEE scores are exempt from the NU Aptitude Test (NUAT), it added.
