MAH CET 2024 final merit list: Maharashtra’s State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the final merit list for the first round of counselling for the Maharashtra Centralised Admission Process (CAP) on Sunday. “Final Merit list is published and available on the Website. To check the the Individual Final Merit Status, Candidates are requested to click Check Final Merit Status under the Important Links menu,” the official MAH CET website said.
Candidates who have applied can view their final MAH CET list at bbabcacap24.mahacet.org, the official website. The candidates can complete their registration process on the official website if they can find their names in the final merit list. The process of the MAH CET CAP 1 choice filling has also been initiated today on September 23 with a deadline of September 25.
On September 28, the provisional allotment for MAH CET CAP round 1 will be shown. Candidates will then have time from September 29 till October 1 at 3 p.m. to accept the offered/allotted seat.
The application cost is Rs 800 for candidates from Maharashtra state only who fall under any of the reserved backward class categories (SC, ST, VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, SEBC, and EWS). However, the application cost for general category students is Rs 1000. This includes students from Maharashtra state, students from outside Maharashtra state, migrants from J&K, and children of Indian workers in the Gulf. Notedly, the application fee is Rs 5000 for foreign nationals, PIOs, NRIs and OCIs.
Steps for Counselling Process
Step 1 – Candidates are required to register on the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra at cetcell.mahacet.org
Step 2 – Upon registration, candidates need to verify their documents
Step 3 – Once verification is done, candidates can start filling the forms online to choose their preferred colleges and courses
Step 4 – A provisional merit list will be released afterward
Step 5 – Once the merit list is released, seat allotment will be done based on merit
Step 6 – Candidates will then require to visit the allotted college in order to pay the fees
