NTA’s policy on dropped questions
If a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) is found to be incorrect or is dropped, all candidates—whether they attempted the question or not—will receive full marks.
- If all options in a question are correct, candidates who attempted it will receive four marks (+4).
- If multiple correct options exist, only those who selected any correct option will receive four marks (+4).
For numerical value-based questions, if a question is incorrect or dropped, candidates who attempted it will be awarded four marks (+4). These errors may arise due to human or technical mistakes.
For more updates, candidates should check the official website regularly.
