The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Aspiring teachers who appeared for the exam can check their results using their application number and date of birth on the official website – ctet.nic.in.
The CTET 2024 exam was conducted on July 7 across over 135 cities in India, in twenty languages, and in two shifts: Paper 2 from 9:30 am to 12 noon and Paper 1 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
For the January session of the CTET exam, a total of 7,95,231 candidates appeared for Paper 1, with 1,26,845 qualifying, while 14,81,242 candidates appeared for Paper 2, with 1,12,033 passing. Additionally, the January results are also available on Digilocker.
According to CBSE, candidates must secure at least 60 percent marks to qualify and receive a CTET certificate, following the NCTE notification. However, school managements, including government, local bodies, government-aided, and unaided schools, have the option to provide concessions for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and differently-abled categories.
CTET 2024 Results: How to Check
1. Visit the official website – ctet.nic.in.
2. Use your roll number to check and download the CTET 2024 June exam result.
3. The certificate will also be available on the Digilocker application a few hours after the result announcement.
Candidates can appear for the CTET exam an unlimited number of times to qualify or improve their scores. The validity of the CTET certificate is now for a lifetime for all categories.
