The CREST Olympiads, an academic competition, are currently accepting registrations. Students hailing from more than 40 countries are encouraged to partake in this global event. The olympiad’s primary objective is to serve as a platform for budding intellects to exhibit their proficiency across diverse subjects, encompassing Mathematics, Science, English and more. Consequently, according to an official release.
Young scholars from across the globe are extended an invitation to engage in this highly competitive event. With a broad spectrum of subjects and challenging queries, the CREST Olympiads offer students a chance to assess their aptitude and competencies on an international scale. For Indian school students, the registration fee stands at Rs 225, whereas international students are required to pay USD 15, the release mentioned.
CREST conducts this online olympiad across multiple schools, featuring a wide array of subjects such as English, Reasoning, Spelling Bee, Mathematics, Science and even Cyber skills. Participating in the CREST Olympiad are young minds hailing from various corners of the world, including the United States, Australia, Canada, South-East Asia, the Middle East and Europe, as per the release.
“Encouraging kids and giving them a pathway to success is an important role we play in the CREST Olympiad. Seeing students succeed is what motivates us, Nitin Godawat, director, CREST Olympiad, said. Speaking about the prizes for students who excel in these Olympiads, “different criteria are set for zonal and international toppers. Right from trophies to gold, silver and bronze medals, there is recognition for the top 50% of students,” he added.
Additionally, students who participated in the recent CREST EduFund Mental Maths Olympiad (CEMMO) were eligible for scholarships. Moreover, CREST Olympiad scores are highly valuable for students seeking admission to schools and foreign colleges. The registration for the 2023-24 CREST Olympiads has already commenced, and the exam dates for various subjects, including CMO, CSO, CEO, CRO, CCO, CSBW and more, have been scheduled on different dates. This scheduling allows students the flexibility to apply for and participate in exams for two or more subjects of their choice, it added.
