CBSE Exam Day Guidelines 2024: The Central Board of Secondary and Higher Education has released the latest guidelines for the 10th and 12th board exams scheduled for tomorrow, February 15, 2024. In its guidelines, CBSE strongly suggests that students leave for exams at the earliest to reach their destination on time, as the ongoing farmers’ protest in Delhi may cause heavy traffic jams on the national capital’s roads.
Further, the guidelines suggested to schools to cooperate with all the students in the best possible way so as students can attempt their exams in a peaceful manner.
In its previous guidelines, some important aspects include such as exam day instructions, designated timings, and the essential items that students must bring to the exam hall. As per the official CBSE Date Sheet 2024, the exams for Class 10 are set to conclude on March 13, while for Class 12, they will conclude on April 2, 2024.
CBSE Exam Day Guidelines 2024:
Dos:
- Arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam’s start.
- Bring your admit card, school ID card, and any other documents mentioned in the admit card.
- Dress modestly and comfortably.
- Carry a blue or black ballpoint pen, a pencil, and an eraser.
- Bring a transparent water bottle.
- Bring a watch (without a calculator).
- Thoroughly read the instructions on the question paper.
- Attempt all questions to the best of your ability.
- Maintain calmness and focus during the exam.
Don’ts:
- Avoid bringing electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, or smartwatches into the exam hall.
- Refrain from bringing unauthorized study materials such as textbooks, notes, or flashcards into the exam hall.
- Do not communicate with other students during the exam.
- Avoid cheating or copying from others.
- Do not leave the exam hall without permission.
- Do not write anything on the question paper that is not part of your answers.
- Abstain from engaging in any unfair practices.
CBSE Exam Reporting Time 2024:
The CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 are scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM on all exam days. However, the end timing will be 1:30 PM for the majority of the papers, with some exams concluding at 12:30 PM. Consequently, students are advised to reach their respective exam centers at least 30 to 45 minutes before the exam commencement.
