CAT Result 2024: The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 results will soon be announced by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. Candidates who took the MBA entrance exam can access their results on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, by logging in with their credentials.

The provisional answer key for CAT 2024 was released on December 3, and candidates had until December 5 to raise objections. The final answer key will be published along with the results. The CAT 2024 scores will be calculated using a normalization method that considers various parameters such as highest and lowest scores, mean, median, and percentile distributions.

This year, 3.29 lakh candidates registered for the exam, with 2.93 lakh appearing, marking an impressive attendance rate of 89%. Despite an increase in the number of questions to 68, aspirants found the exam easier than in previous years. Experts predict that this may lead to higher cut-offs for IIM admissions.

  3. Enter your CAT application number, password, and security pin.
  4. Submit the login credentials to view your result.

The CAT exam was conducted on November 24 across 389 centers. The question paper featured three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) with 24 questions, and Quantitative Ability (QA) and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), each with 22 questions.
