BML Munjal University (BMU), a Hero Group initiative, has appointed Pratik Modi as the dean of the School of Management (SOM). Modi has taken charge from Jaskiran Arora who has been elevated to the role of dean of education quality at the university. Modi is a distinguished practitioner who brings over 17 years of combined experience in industry, academics, research and consulting. He previously served as the dean (faculty) and professor of Marketing at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and held positions as a research fellow and Visiting Fellow at the Portsmouth Business School, University of Portsmouth, UK, according to an official release.
In the realm of academia, Modi has delivered a diverse array of courses at management institutions in India and Europe. These courses encompass a wide spectrum, including Marketing Strategy, Services Marketing, Managerial Decision Making, Structural Equation Modeling, Quantitative Research Methods, Marketing Management, Social and Nonprofit Marketing. His primary research endeavors revolve around strategic orientations and their associated consequences, with parallel interests in sustainable consumption, rural-social dimensions of marketing and nonprofit marketing, the release mentioned.

The University offers a spectrum of academic programmes, ranging from Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Liberal Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (BA) (Honors), BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BBA-MBA Integrated programme, B.Tech at the undergraduate level, and MBA, LLB and Ph.D. at the postgraduate level, as per the release.
