AP TET 2024 Notification Released: The School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh has released the notification for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) scheduled for July 2024. Candidates can download the notification from aptet.apcfss.in. The application process will begin on July 4 and end on July 17, with the payment window available from July 3 to 16.
The exam is scheduled to take place between August 5 and 20, and the results will be announced on August 30. Below are the important dates to remember:
The result of the AP TET February exam, which was delayed for a long time, was announced last month. The application fee for the AP TET July exam is ₹750 for each paper (1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B).
AP TET 2024 exam eligibility
The exam is intended for those aspiring to be teachers in State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, A.P. Model Schools, A.P. Residential Schools, all Welfare Society Schools, Private Aided Schools, and Private Unaided Schools under the control of Andhra Pradesh State for classes 1 to 8.
AP TET 2024 passing marks
To pass the exam, open-category candidates need to score 60 percent or more. BC category candidates require 50 percent or above, while SC, ST, differently-abled (PH), and ex-servicemen category candidates need 40 percent or above.
In teacher recruitment, 20 percent weightage will be given to the AP TET exam score and 80 percent to the respective Teacher recruitment exam score. The certificate of the examination will be valid for a lifetime.
