CBSE has a good previous record in terms of stats about passing and failing percentage. In the year 2012, CBSE had a passing percentage of more than 97.86 which means that out of every 100 students, 97 of them passed the exam. In 2013, the passing percentage increased to 98.19 and in that year, there were more than 7 hundred thousand students who participated in the exams. 2014 saw another improvement in the passing percentage as it improved from 98.19 to 98.76 from 2013 to 2014. The passing percentage in 2015 again aggravated with a total of 98.87 percent of the students passing the exam.
