The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather warning for Wednesday forecasting light to moderate rainfall in several parts of South Indian states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala and South Interior Karnataka.

Rainfall over southern states, snow in the north

The IMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall over several parts of South India states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, on upcoming days starting from November 3. On the other hand, under the influence of feeble western disturbance, light rainfall/snowfall is also expected in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. However, no significant weather changes are likely over the rest of the country.

Delhi

Delhi will witness clear sky along with mist fog in the morning. However, the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi stands at 336 on Wednesday in the ‘Very Poor’ category, according to data provided by SAFAR-India. The data further revealed that the city’s AQI has been in the ‘very poor’ category since Sunday (309), PTI reported. The AQI was recorded at 322 on Monday and 327 on Tuesday, as per the data provided by the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR)-India.

Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh is expected to experience clear weather with an incoming wind in the first week of November. This could potentially lead to snowfall in the area. A new western disturbance is on its way, which could result in snow in the higher altitudes and rainfall in other parts of the state, ANI reported quoting Surender Paul, head of IMD HP as saying.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts that the weather in Himachal Pradesh will remain pleasant over the next week. The region’s air quality index is also predicted to stay within normal ranges.
