Nearly a year after it reversed its policy of not supplying uranium to India, Australian government has said the sale will not start quickly and even a safeguard agreement is likely to take one or two years.

Australian PM Julia Gillard, who is on a three-day visit to India, hosed down any suggestions that uranium sale to India will start quickly.

On the trade front, the Indo-Australian CEO Forum suggested the two countries to promote skills training and agreed to look at ways to enhance cooperation in infrastructure development and services trade. ?We will request our governments to consider the recommendations,? said Indian co-chair, Naveen Jindal, MP & Chairman, Jindal Steel & Power.
