Police investigation underway; influencer demands action
Following the incident, More filed a formal complaint at Amboli police station and made a copy of the FIR public. She has demanded strict action against Rahil, stating that she felt threatened during the altercation. Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
The altercation comes days after Rajshree More was at the center of a social media controversy. She had posted a video criticising efforts to enforce the Marathi language in Maharashtra, suggesting that the local Marathi community should focus on working harder and warning that their condition could worsen if migrants left Mumbai.
The remarks drew sharp criticism, prompting MNS workers from Versova to file a complaint against her at the Oshiwara police station. More later issued a public apology and deleted the contentious video.
Political tensions escalate
The incident has further heightened tensions between More and MNS supporters. More has claimed that she is being targeted by party workers due to her recent statements on the Marathi language issue.
Authorities are reviewing the viral videos and statements as part of their ongoing investigation into the incident.
