In a shocking incident that has left the community in disbelief, a 25-year-old state-level tennis player, Radhika Yadav, was shot dead by her father inside their residence in Sushant Lok Phase 2, Sector-57, Gurugram, around noon today.
Radhika Yadav was a promising tennis player who had represented Haryana at various state-level tournaments and won multiple accolades. The incident occurred in the family’s home at around 12:00 pm.
According to police reports, Radhika’s father fired five rounds at her, of which three bullets struck her. She succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the accused was distressed over his daughter’s frequent use of social media, particularly her habit of making Instagram reels. Family sources revealed ongoing disagreements between the two regarding Radhika’s online presence and career choices.
