Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was discharged from Delhi’s Indraprastha Apollo Hospital on Wednesday following a successful brain surgery. He was operated on March 17 to eliminate massive bleeding in his skull.

Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, who visited Sadhguru at the hospital, told ANI that the doctors are satisfied with his progress and that his resilience remained unwavering during this tough time.

Sadhguru was successfully taken off the ventilator following the surgery. As reported by the Isha Foundation, the spritual leader was examined by Dr Vinit Suri, a senior consultant neurologist at Apollo Hospital, who had recommended an MRI. The MRI had later revealed significant brain bleeding. Suri had said that Sadhguru had faced a “life-threatening situation”.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar had also personally reached out to Sadhguru, extending their wishes for his swift recovery and good health.
