Republic Day 2025 Delhi Traffic Advisory: As India prepares to celebrate its 76th Republic Day on January 26, 2025, authorities have issued traffic advisories to ensure the smooth conduct of the parade and related events. Residents and commuters in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) including Gurugram have been directed to take off the following restrictions and plan their journeys accordingly.
A detailed traffic advisory has been issued by the Delhi Police ahead of the Republic Day 2025 celebrations, scheduled to take place on January 25 at Chhatrasal Stadium, Model Town. Delhi. The event is expected to be attended by the senior government officials, ministers, dignitaries, MLA’s and schoolchildren. The Chief Minister of Delhi will be the Chief Guest as he will be hoisting the national flag.
To ensure smooth vehicular movement, citizens are advised to plan their journey, as heavy traffic congestion is likely to be there around the venue. The traffic rules have been issued for January 25 (Saturday) from 6 am to 1 pm. For this day, about 1,000 light vehicles and about 250 buses are anticipated to come near Chhatrasal Stadium.

To reduce congestion, commuters have been suggested to follow these alternative routes:
GTK Road can be taken from Shakti Nagar to Azadpur Chowk
Inner Ring Road-This route can be followed from IP College to Azadpur Chowk
Burari Chowk can be opted from Vijay Nagar T-Point via Camp Chowk
Chhatrasal Stadium Road route can be taken via Gujranwala Town
