A bomb threat call targeting two prominent landmarks in Delhi, the Red Fort and Jama Masjid, prompted immediate action from authorities on Thursday (April 10). According to a statement from a Delhi Fire Services official, the threat was received on Thursday morning, at 9.03 AM, causing alarm among security personnel. 

In response, a fire tender was immediately dispatched to the sites for a detailed search. However, no suspicious items were found during the inspection. Delhi Police also issued a statement confirming that bomb disposal teams, along with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), thoroughly examined the premises after the call. They concluded that the threat was a hoax.

“Red Fort and Jama Masjid received bomb threat call. According to Delhi Police, nothing suspicious was found during the check and the call was declared as hoax,” said Delhi Police.
