Union Minister Manoj Singh today said the work to re-introduce railbus service between Mathura and Vrindavan, considering their religious importance, is under porgress.

“The work is in progress to re-start railbus between Mathura and Vrindaban shortly. To overcome the technical snag it has developed, a plan is afoot to send it to Izatnagar,” he told reporters, after paying obeisance to the deity in Bankeyua Behari temple in Vrindaban yesterday.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in a letter to Union Railway Minister had requested to re-start railbus between Mathura and Vrindaban owing to the religious importance of Vrindaban.

Earlier in the day, addressing a function at a private university, he said to overcome problem of unemployment 50 lakhs people would be recruited every year.
