Ahead of the Lok Sabha Election results day on June 4, the Noida Traffic Police has released a traffic advisory for Phool Mandi Phase 2 in Noida. As per the advisory released by the Noida Police, traffic restrictions will start at 4 AM on June 4 and last till the vote counting is completed.

The supporters, party workers and the people in general cannot park their vehicles within a 1km radius of Phool Mandi, the Noida police advisory said. It added that if commuters are found violating the instruction, they will face strict action.

Noida traffic diversions – Which routes to avoid?  

According to the notification, all traffic movements will be restricted around Phool Mandi Phase 2, except for the election-related vehicles. However, light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles will be banned near the Phool Mandi from 4 AM. Notably, from Surajpur to Noida Phase 2, vehicle traffic on the Dadri-Surajpur-Chhalera road would be prohibited.

The parking arrangements have been made for magistrates, media, polling officers and personnel deployed on strong room (EVM) duty, as per the police advisory. It further stated that micro-observers, administrators, and police can park their vehicles in parking 1.

Meanwhile, parking 2 is reserved for the counting staff and their supporting employees. Media people can park in parking 3.

Other vehicles such as buses engaged in poll duties will be parked at parking 6.
