1The job: It is cliched but it’s true—when you truly love your job you don’t have to work a single day of your life! As an entrepreneur, I don’t work—I thrive, live, breathe ShopClues on a daily basis! The excitement, the thrill, the passion—all help me grow as an individual and as a team member!
2The weekdays: Working as an entrepreneur in a fast growing and fast changing industry, it’s very easy for life to spin out of control and that is why my best friend is an organiser! Weekdays typically start around 6 am—a quick cup of coffee and then it’s time to get the kids to school. Luckily school start time is staggered so I get just the right one-on-one time with both the boys. Love this time of the day! Works starts at 8 am and there onwards it is a roller-coaster ride. Lunch is always with the core team—a great time to catch up both work wise and socially. In between meetings, I always make sure I talk to as many of my colleagues as possible even if it is for 5 minutes. Evenings are as hectic—getting home work done, dinner on the table, and some down time with the family!
3The weekend: A typical weekend involves a mix of social engagements, pending chores, catching up with friends and de-stress time. It also includes things like a relaxed breakfast, a cup of tea with my husband on the balcony and games of table tennis with my boys. However I do end up taking about 15 mins to catch up on work.
4The toys: My iPhone, Kindle and laptop are the gadgets Ican’t do without.
5The logos: The brands that I prefer are Apple, GAP, Saks, ShopClues.
