Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Northeast winner list: Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura voted to seal the fate of candidates in the Lok Sabha Election 2024. The counting of votes and declaration of results happened on June 4.

All these states have 10 Lok Sabha seats in total – Manipur (2), Meghalaya (2), Arunachal Pradesh (2), Tripura (2), Nagaland (1), and Mizoram (1). In 2019, the NDA won 19 of the 25 parliamentary seats in the northeast.

Congress Vs BJP

While the BJP has left no stone unturned to increase its presence in the region, the Congress has been struggling to hold on to its bastions in the northeast.

2024 Lok Sabha Elections

From 19 April to 1 June 2024, in seven phases, 2024 LS Polls were held in the country, to elect all 543 members of the Lok Sabha.

In the history of India, this is the largest-ever election, surpassing the previous poll, and lasts 44 days, second only to the 1951–52 General Election. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is running for a third consecutive term.

Roughly 970 million people out of a population of 1.4 billion people were eligible to vote, equivalent to 70% of the total population.
