Major fire breaks out at flat in Greater Noida’s Gaur City apartments, many feared trapped

A major fire broke out on Thursday morning in an apartment at the 16th Avenue Society of Gaur City 2 in Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh.

The fire reportedly spread to another flat. Upon receiving the information, fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

The residents scrambled to evacuate the premises as a thick cloud of smoke was seen billowing into the sky.

“The reason for the fire is not yet known but fire tenders have reached the spot. Fire has been brought under control. No loss of life reported so far,” an official from the fire department told ANI.
