In another stern warning, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that people who would dare to do what happened in Bareilly, will get beaten in the same manner. Addressing a public gathering in Balrampur, the CM said that people whoever disrupts festivals and public celebrations will pay the price.
The Uttar Pradesh CM earlier inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth Rs 825 crore in the district. He said, “Anyone who disrupts festivals and public celebrations will pay the price and future generations will remember them… “
“If anyone tries to harm the safety of our daughters or create unrest during festivals, let them know the nation will not forgive such acts,” the CM added.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath further said that a few individuals should not be allowed to spoil the environment. “…But they must remember, we are more prepared than they think. They will be beaten just as they were beaten in Bareilly.”
This is the second time when CM Yogi issued a warning to miscreants. On Saturday, the Chief Minister said the Bareilly cleric had perhaps forgotten who is in power in the state. He was referring to the violence that occurred in the city over the “I Love Muhammad” protests.
“Yesterday, a cleric forgot who is in power in the State,” the CM said, adding, “He thought he could halt the system whenever he wanted, but we made it clear that there would be neither a roadblock nor a curfew.”
Yogi cites Chhangur Baba’s example
The Chief Minister cited the example of ‘Chhangur Baba’ who was held on the charges of religious conversion in the state by the UP ATS.
“Jalaluddin even adopted the alias ‘Chhangur Baba’ to mislead Hindus and throw dust in society’s eyes. But no matter how much a sinner tries to hide his wrongdoing, his pot of sins will ultimately fill, and he will not be able to escape punishment,” he said.
“Elements like Chhangur and other anti‑national elements were attempting the same deceit in Balrampur. We must remain alert from such ‘Kalanemis’…” CM Yogi added.

Calling people like Chhangur Baba and Tauqueer Raza Khan, the chief of the Ittehad-e-Millat Council in Bareilly “fools”, the CM said these people don’t even know that symbols of faith are honoured, not loved.
“Faith isn’t something to be displayed at crossroads; it’s a matter of conscience. Some people are creating chaos in society by giving small children posters of “I Love Muhammad”. They don’t even realise that their own lives are already ruined, but they’re hell-bent on ruining the lives of these children as well. But the government will never accept this kind of anarchy. Anyone who attempts to take the law into their own hands will be informed in advance that we will issue them a ticket to hell without asking. This anarchy is unacceptable…” he said.

What is ‘I Love Muhammad’ Row?
Violent clashes broke out in Bareilly between police and the protestors carrying “I Love Muhammad” posters following Friday prayers this week. The protestors were furious after authorities denied permission to Khan to hold a demonstration.
DIG Ajay Kumar Sahni said the violence looked like a “pre-planned conspiracy”, and warned that “exemplary punishment” would be given to offenders to ensure such incidents are not repeated.
The state’s Information Department has also issued a statement saying that it is a “well-planned conspiracy”.
The tension traces back to September 9, when “I Love Muhammad” boards were put up on a public road during a Barawafat procession in Kanpur. Hindu groups objected, calling it a “deliberate provocation” and “a new trend.” An FIR was lodged against several people, including nine identified and 15 unnamed individuals.
