Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on Wednesday, 17 September, is being observed across India with tributes, greetings, and personal anecdotes shared by political leaders, industrialists, and celebrities alike. From stories of personal care and compassion to reflections on his visionary leadership, the day highlighted both Modi’s professional and humane qualities.
Finance Minister recalls Modi’s personal care
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman shared a personal experience illustrating Modi’s attentiveness. After presenting her first Budget speech, the Prime Minister immediately called her, expressing concern: “Why didn’t you take care of yourself?” He even sent his personal doctor to check on her. “He continued to ask, ‘Are you looking after yourself? How are you keeping?’ from time to time,” she said, highlighting a side of Modi rarely seen publicly as compassionate, humane, and attentive.

Has the shooting of the film started?’” Madhavan recalled, noting how Modi’s attention made the interaction unforgettable.
