The BJP on Wednesday (September 4) announced its first list of 67 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections, including several recent party joiners. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will contest from the Ladwa seat. 

Former BJP state president Om Prakash Dhankar is set to run from Badli, and veteran leader Anil Vij will compete in Ambala Cantt. Recent BJP members Devender Singh Babli, Sanjay Kablana, and Shruti Choudhry will stand for the Tohana, Beri, and Tosham seats, respectively.

Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh’s daughter, Arti Singh Rao, will be a candidate in Ateli. The list also includes Capt Abhimanyu, Bhavya Bishnoi (son of Kuldeep Bishnoi), and former MP Sunita Duggal.
