Republic Day 2025 Google Doodle: Google unveiled a vibrant and creative doodle on Sunday to mark India’s 76th Republic Day. The doodle showcases animals dressed in traditional attire representing the country’s rich cultural diversity. Illustrated by Pune-based guest artist Rohan Dahotre, the doodle combines elements of surrealism and patriotism, portraying a wildlife parade with the letters of ‘GOOGLE’ cleverly and artistically woven into the theme.

The doodle showcases a snow leopard adorned in Ladakhi attire, holding a ribbon, and a tiger dressed in a dhoti-kurta playing a traditional instrument. Other animals include a peacock in flight and an antelope wearing ceremonial attire, symbolizing India’s varied cultural and ecological heritage. According to Google, the animals in the parade represent different regions of the country, highlighting its diversity and unity.

The accompanying description on Google’s website reads, “This doodle celebrates India’s 76th Republic Day, an occasion marked by national pride and unity.” Dahotre expressed that Republic Day is deeply meaningful for India, bringing people together and fostering a sense of patriotism nationwide. He highlighted the country’s extraordinary diversity, with its numerous languages, cultures, and traditions, describing India as a vibrant world of its own.

India is set to celebrate its Republic Day on Sunday with a grand parade on the Kartavya Path in New Delhi. The event will showcase the nation’s military strength and cultural heritage. Sixteen tableaux from various states and Union Territories and 15 from central ministries and organizations will roll down the ceremonial boulevard. Notably, Madhya Pradesh’s tableau will highlight Project Cheetah and the Kuno National Park.

The annual Republic Day Parade is a widely celebrated event that features grand floats, cultural performances, and impressive military displays. It covers several kilometers from Kartavya Path to India Gate, attracting attendees and viewers from across the nation.
