A full emergency was declared at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on Thursday after an Air India flight from Mumbai received a bomb threat.
The flight with 135 passengers landed safely at the Thiruvananthapuram airport around 8 am and was moved to an isolation bay, PTI reported.
Passengers were safely evacuated from the flight by 8.44 am, airport sources told PTI.

As the flight approached Thiruvananthapuram airport, the pilot informed about the bomb threat received at around 7.30 am and the flight landed at 8 am.
Subsequently, a full emergency was declared at the airport at 7.36 am.
“There has been no impact on life. Airport operations are currently uninterrupted,” the sources told PTI.
Information on the origin of the threat and other details are not known yet.
