At least four people were killed while eight others suffered injuries in a collision involving multiple vehicles – including three trucks and one car – on the Thoppur Ghat Road in Tamil Nadu’s Dharmapuri district.
CCTV footage captured a heavily loaded speeding truck colliding with another truck. Subsequently, this led to the truck in front ramming into yet another truck, resulting in a collision involving a car. A truck plunged off the bridge. Another high-speed truck caught fire.
Upon receiving information, the fire brigade promptly arrived at the scene and brought the blaze under control.
