A few hours before Arvind Kejriwal before the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the probe agency raided premises linked to Raaj Kumar Anand, another Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, as part of a money-laundering investigation on Thursday morning.

The searches are taking place at Anand’s property in the Civil Lines area and several other locations, with the search teams being accompanied by a CRPF team. Anand, who is 57 years old, serves as the minister for social welfare and SC/ST welfare in the government led by Arvind Kejriwal. He is the MLA representing Patel Nagar, PTI reported.

The raids which are underway took place just before Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s scheduled questioning by ED today. Kejriwal’s questioning is related to a money laundering probe connected to Delhi’s liquor policy.

However, it has not been confirmed whether the ED’s raids on Minister Raaj Kumar Anand’s premises are linked to the same investigation.
