Following BJP’s sweeping victory in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, party president JP Nadda took to social media to express his gratitude to the people of Delhi for their overwhelming support. Calling it a “historic mandate,” Nadda credited the victory to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the trust that voters have placed in his vision for the national capital.

In his statement, Nadda highlighted that the people of Delhi have chosen “integrity over corruption” and “truth over lies,” signalling a strong rejection of the ruling AAP government. He thanked BJP karyakartas (party workers) for their relentless dedication, emphasising that their hard work had paved the way for this decisive win.

The results mark a major political shift in Delhi, ending AAP’s decade-long rule and bringing BJP back to power after 27 years. Throughout its campaign, the BJP focused on issues such as governance failures, corruption allegations, and the deteriorating state of Delhi’s infrastructure, promising a complete overhaul under Modi’s leadership.

As celebrations erupt across BJP offices, the party is now set to form the new government in the capital. Meanwhile, AAP faces a crushing defeat, sparking discussions on its future in Delhi politics. With the final results expected later in the evening, all eyes are now on BJP’s next steps as they gear up to fulfil their promises and transform Delhi into a model capital.
