Massive fire guts transport warehouse in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur; no fatalities

A massive fire gutted a transport warehouse in Basni area of Rajasthan’s Jodhpur on Saturday afternoon, said an official. “Efforts are underway to control the fire, Basni police has also reached the spot,” he informed. No casualties or injuries have been reported as yet. The reason for the blaze is yet to be ascertained.

SpaceX’s next-generation spacecraft Starship, designed to transport astronauts to the moon and beyond, was scheduled for a repeat test launch from south Texas on Saturday, seven months after its maiden effort to reach space ended in an explosion. The uncrewed launch was slated to take place during a 20-minute window commencing at 7 a.m. at SpaceX’s Starbase location near Boca Chica in the Gulf of Mexico.

Uttarkashi tunnel collapse: Drilling work halted, another machine from Indore to reach today

The ongoing drilling work to reach the 40 trapped workers inside the Silkyara tunnel was halted on Saturday after the rescuers bored 25 metres into the rubble, a top official said. The workers have been trapped for six days, counting Saturday, after a portion of the under-construction Silkyara tunnel caved in on November 12. (ANI)
